News: Man of La Mancha

I’ve accepted the role of Jose (ironic? HAHA!) in Westchester Broadway Theatre’s production of Man of La Mancha! I’m very excited to perform close to home in this amazing show!!

We start rehearsals in a couple weeks and I can’t wait!!

I’ve added a new section to my site: News. Here, pretty self explanatory, I will post updates for things that I’m involved with, such as Man of La Mancha! Check it out! =)

Updates

Hello!

I’ve added a couple things and changed a couple things. My links above are now a little bit more friendly: Media will now appear right on the page when you click the link. My modeling page will still take you to a different site, but you’ll go straight to my portfolio as and not the site’s homepage.
My next thing to work on will be the resume page…Hoping to make that appear right away, instead of having to click the extra link. But, one step at a time!

Happy HumpDay!

Exciting news soon to come! =D
Love,
JOSER =)

whats in the works.

This seems to be a pattern now. I’ll blog once then ditch for a few weeks…kinda the case, but with actual reason!
This past month has been INCREDIBLY busy for me! Let’s see . . .
On this day last month I was in tech rehearsals for FINIAN’S RAINBOW at Woodminster Theatre. That show closed two Sundays ago and I was off to Long Beach, CA to audition for HAIRSPRAY with Musical Theatre West. I didn’t get it.
I was back in the Bay Area on Wednesday at Midnight so I took that day as a day to relax. I booked a couple audition appointments so headed to San Francisco on Friday afternoon for NCTC (I booked the part; found out yesterday. Although, it isn’t officially my part yet because I have a conflict that I’m not sure the director will be OK with!) and headed to Saratoga in the South Bay that evening to meet a director and a choreographer who are offering me a role in GUYS AND DOLLS in March 2012.
That night I was back in San Francisco hanging out with some good friends because Nick Bayne (now gone) was leaving to Scotland for Grad School (good luck!!). It was a terribly fun night and the next day I was in rehearsals for CHESS at Willows Theatre in Concord. I stumbled upon this role serendipitously. An inquiry was responded to with an offer. GREAT! So now I’m in rehearsals for this show that I know only slightly.
The next day, Sunday, I was attending an audition for LEGALLY BLONDE at DIABLO THEATRE COMPANY in Pleasant Hill but ended up auditioning for SPRING AWAKENING at CenterREP in Walnut Creek (found out last night that I got a callback!). I sent an email to the casting director for LEGALLY BLONDE and she asked me to come to callbacks, then to an invited audition.
Last night I sent an email to the casting director at Berkeley Playhouse for an audition appointment for PIRATES OF PENZANCE. Got that appointment today.

So you SEE!! I’ve been VERY busy. And on top of ALL this, I’ve been thinking of a way to get a part-time job to supplement this lifestyle. Hmmm . . . AND, to add to the madness in my mind, I’m wondering when I’ll be able to go back to NYC. I figured, however, that as long as I have shows happening here, I’m good?? By the seems of it, I MIGHT be able to go for a week or two in the winter for some auditions (HOPEFULLY!).

Anyway, I guess that’s my update for now. I’ll have something more exciting to talk about next time =)
